What about compatibility? 360 videos can be viewed via YouTube or Facebook. They can also be played as a stand-alone video file on mobile devices with the appropriate playback app (most of which are free). You can also playback these videos on your computer desktop and they are compatible with Google Cardboard. So far, you cannot play these videos back via broadcast television or on your television at home, however, we wouldn't be surprised to see an app for a smart TV to come out very soon.
